Thanks for the video. Our school has taken on a mural project as well, and your video was an eye opener. After viewing it, I can certainly imagine success in our own project, but I also noticed several pitfalls which we can avoid with careful planning. In fact, that was the number one message I received after watching the video: PLAN. It’s still early in the game for us. We are finalizing the image and getting all parties to agree. It’s gonna be a fun year.

Hi Susanne,
Please e-mail me at [email protected]. I'd love to talk to you about our program. We are in northwestern Connecticut. Our program is a two week seminar that really mirrors the City of Neighborhoods plan. Engaging 20 students in a quest to answer the question, "How to revitalize commercial/public/political interest in a downtown area of Winsted, Connecticut". There are many community projects that are already taking place that are working to address this. Much work is needed to be done, though and we want our students to have the opportunity to develop a plan, learn how to promote it, and finally present it to community members and policy makers of Winsted.
Thanks for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you.
Bruce
