Bruce and I are coming up with a wish list of people to support our summer program. If anyone has some ideas as to the different professionals who could assist us please let us know.

I would include professional artists as a resource and research your local galleries and museums.

As of now our wish list includes an architect, engineer, local political leader, someone from the Environmental Protection Agency, designer, artist, and math teacher.

If you are in need of an artist; I would love to volunteer. I have dabbled in many media and have done some design also. Susanne

Hi Susanne, Please e-mail me at
[email protected]
. I'd love to talk to you about our program. We are in northwestern Connecticut. Our program is a two week seminar that really mirrors the City of Neighborhoods plan. Engaging 20 students in a quest to answer the question, "How to revitalize commercial/public/political interest in a downtown area of Winsted, Connecticut". There are many community projects that are already taking place that are working to address this. Much work is needed to be done, though and we want our students to have the opportunity to develop a plan, learn how to promote it, and finally present it to community members and policy makers of Winsted. Thanks for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you. Bruce
