I checked out the site and thought it was very cool. I passed this information on to my fellow coworkers and I hope that they are able to use it.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good design websites geared for the primary grades? I teach Kindergarten and I was hoping to find some sites that my students could navigate independently. Thanks!

Hi Sharon, I don't know of Design websites specifically, but I think the Sesame workshop ones are top notch and might be a place to start web exploration with students examining how Sesame Street tv programs compare to website presentation. Not sure. Also, there might be tools like blogs that you could train students to use. That would be insanely cool. Just ran across this website and it looks cool too: https://bblocks.samhsa.gov/children/games/ Tiffany

Hi! I haven't yet found any websites that are geared toward primary aged children, although I think that would be a great resource for someone to develop. I've spent some time on the Sesame Street site, and the site that was listed by Tiffany. (Thank you!) They're good, but unfortunately don't focus on creative design.

This isn't a design site, but still a favorite of my kindergarten students. https://www.storylineonline.net/ It's a site hosted by the Screen Actors Guild of America- and features famous actors and actresses reading popular children's books. I often use it as a combined listening/computer center!
