I have volunteered to use the desing process I used with City of Neighborhoods in a school specific arena. At the close of every year we have a math night for the entire K-6 families. This past year I noticed it was well attended by the younger students and their families but the older students did not have much interest. So, I have discussed with my fellow teachers and principla to select two students in each class 3-6 and have them design out math night. I believe that this will give the older students more buy in and become more excited about the event. My question is should I do something smaller with this select group first to give them a baseline on how the process works?
