Thanks for the info on the Flickr transparency's I just finished showing my class the vampire energy transparency. They especially liked the symbols for the electric toothbrush and the vampire teeth! : ) I will definitely share these as appropriate with my third grade students!

Good Magazine's got a great set of transparencies archived on Flickr that would make ideal resources in your design class. Among all sorts of interesting stuff you can find a transparency that tells you that there is only one public toilet per 500,000 people in Los Angeles. Food for thought if you're thinking of visiting, and some good design opportunities for your class. Dive in and browse at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/goodmagazine/sets/72157618896371005/detail/.
