I think we all came away from that trip with a new understanding of Green Design and how it can work in our neighborhoods as well as how to get our students to think "outside the box" or, since I am an art teach... to think "out side the lines"! Nice to meet you by the way!!

I finally came up with a project that is going to work at my school and with all subject areas on my team. I can't wait to get started and I hope I can inspire someone at my school to want to go to New Orleans next summer...of course, I don't know how anyone would say no to New Orleans!!

The Cooper Hewitt staff put together a terrific program, we absorbed a lot of ideas and information from our guest speakers and hands on activities, and I feel well prepared for the upcoming year. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new perspective. It was one of the most valuable things I've done as an educator. I'm looking at school with a new set of eyes. Kevin

It was the most worthwhile week I have spent in a while and the absolute best professional development class I have ever taken in my 22 years of teaching. I will spread the good word so that more teachers in my district can have the opportunity to participate. WELL DONE!
