On Friday November 17, 2006 at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Collab held its 14th Annual Student Design Competition. This years theme was to design an "intelligent ornament", that designer Georg Jensen might create if he were alive today. I am proud to announce that Michelle Mullin a senior at Philadelphia University and a former student of mine, was awarded second prize for her design. As a high school educator it it nice to see how our students grow into artists and designers. If we can give them a strong foundation to build on, the rise to success won't be as dificult. Congratulations Michelle!

What age do students have to be to enter? I teach in Philadelphia too, but I work with younger students.
