We are working on a project called ARTSBUILD in the Twin Cities. Imagine building a sculpture out of 4000 (full) cans of soup. The students come up with themes for the sculptures, plan how it will be built, make various sketches and CAD representations of it and then present all of this to a committee of architects, artists and engineers who give feedback. At the end of May the cans are shipped to downtown St Paul and the student teams begin building their sculptures. This is our first year participating in the program but we have seen examples on their website that look amazing. I would recommend the program to any art, tech teacher who likes to get their students working on big, fun projects.

That sounds really neat. It sounds like a great design project for your kids. I am sure they are having a great time and learning a lot about the design process. Heck, I would love to do a project like that. You will definitely have to post pictures.

Everything was ready for the couple's wedding, set to take place Saturday, Sept. 18.That was until Sept. 5, just 13 days before the big
Sheer Wedding Dresses
day, when they learned that Papps Casual Dining and Banquet Hall, where they were holding the reception, had been shut down due to outstanding rent payments."My heart just dropped in my
Shop Dress
stomach," said the bride-to-be.The couple only discovered the closure when they made a call to the banquet hall's coordinator regarding the final
Short Wedding Dress
preparations."It was only by fluke that we found out," said the groom.
