I see George's class every Monday for a half an hour! It's not enough time to accomplish what we want to do...George is under a tight schedule so we can't find time, I'm only at this school twice a week, so this is a challenge. I'm doing the lessons with other 5th and 6th grade classes and they have an hour and what a difference 30 more minutes makes.

It looks like one or more of us will have to give up our break. We're overpaid as it is.

They need time to create, it seems all we have time is to explain the lesson, then they have to do the project for homework. A week goes by, not everyone does their homework. I guess we'll have to give up our break. You're right George, we're underworked and overpaid!

I agree with you folks , there is very limited time left for planning when working as an interdisciplinary team. I am working with a special ed teacher and have noted this flaw. I have been regularly thinking of ways in which this gap can be minimized with palnning that sometimes falls apart due to a paucity of time.BEing a new school we struggle to find the right answerd, but in the final run , we do make things work for the good of everyone involves. Somehow things do fall in place, but leaves us mystifies sometimes,as to what the outcome will be. Assessment of the work becomes another factor of concern. We need to hash out how to effecively and progressively grade learner competencies as a result of the learning experience they had. I think each day is a new learning experience for each one of us in a different way
