Check out October's issue of SchoolArts magazine -- this month's theme is "Design Matters." The issue features articles by prominent design educators, interviews with designers, and design-based lesson ideas. Also included is a pull-out poster highlighting the Cooper-Hewitt mansion, as well as tear out gallery cards with information on objects from our collection. Go to https://www.davis-art.com/Portal/SchoolArts/SADefault.aspx for more information.

Thank you for the heads-up on this resource! I found several activities from the Scholastic Magazine 2006 Design poster and activity series that I see great potential in using - probably even next week.

I recently got my hands on a copy of I.D. Magazine. It was full of really creative project ideas that one could build units around. It may be a bit expensive though.

Thank you for the resources. We don't subscribe to either magazine suggested above, but I found out from the librarian that teachers can make requests to our school division, and they will be purchased.
