There is a plethora of information available online on resources for every aspect of education of the web. A collection of these postings can become a fabulous resource page to delve into when needed. I have not n been able to sit and seperate them bu topic, but have collected some that might help. I can regularly update them as they are found by me. Also, check out the resources listed on the Educator Resource Center. If you click on the "resources" tab on the top right, it will lead you to several VERY helpful websites (some of which are already on Sudha's list), as well as great books and curriculum guides for the classroom.

That's a great list, thanks! Two sites that I have on my bookmarks list: https://www.nypl.org/ https://www.nyc.gov/html/dcla/html/home/home.shtml both are pretty specific to NYC, but I think each site can lead to general information that's useful no matter where you are. I use both sites endlessly, for reasearch on lessons, trips or activities that involve the arts in the content areas. Living in New York has tremendous opportunities for teaching and learning in and out of the classroom, but without a cohesive directory it's hard to know what to look for. I can't count how many times these site have come to the rescue!

It's definitely easier for someone to suggest useful sites for us to go to as it is very time consuming to look for the best sites to help us in our teaching.

For art related things, I use www.artlex.com. It has great visual examples of different terms and art movements. It's pretty comprehensive.
